March 2007 Prayer Letter
Dear Friends,
I would just like to share a few prayer requests with you this month. Some of these I have mentioned before, but I want to keep them fresh in your mind:
By the time you receive this letter, David should have less than two weeks left of his trip to Africa. During this tail end of the trip he will be in South Africa with another WMF staff member trying to discern if the Lord is leading us to begin a new field there. Please continue to hold him in your prayers.
Please continue to pray also for Josh and Robin Fowler. As I write this, I have just returned (literally hours ago) from picking them up at the airport in Bucharest. They looked pretty tired from such a long trip, but they are excited to finally be here. And we are excited to have them. Pray that they have a great beginning to their first three years.
As you know Moise left the boys' home several months ago and moved back in with his family. The situation there slowly deteriorated to the point where he has been spending most of his nights back on the street. Recently, he asked if we could help him find a host family to live with. Well, he's having a bit of a rough time. He's moved in with and then left two families already in a very short time. Without getting into details, I can say that Moise is going through a very difficult time in his life. Please pray for him. Pray that his Father in heaven will protect him, cover him with His peace, and give both Moise and us wisdom in knowing how to proceed together.
Lastly, I just want to mention that my current commitment with WMF will be completed in June of this year, but I have already indicated my intention to renew that commitment for another three years. As most of you know, I see myself staying here long-term and the way things work with us WMF folks is that we renew our commitments (assuming we want to do so) every three years. I don't know if the fact that I'm staying on like I said I would is especially newsworthy, but I thought I'd let you know. Please pray for me and those I minister among whenever you think of us.
Love,
Paul
