Fourth floor apartment flat

And Orion's looking in my balcony window.

His broad shoulders and wide stance

Threaten to draw the shiny sword.

But for me He's Protection, Strength

And my Security.

Is Orion looking in your balcony?

 

Four floors under and only a ladder to see.

Orion doesn't quite fit down the man-hole.

He hovers and calls to battle.

But light out of sight is out-of-mind,

And the Great Warrior is lost between constellation and chaos.

Is Orion a lost epiphany

When you can't look out from a balcony?
