1. Pray for David Chronic who is traveling to Sierra Leone, South Africa and Zambia, Feb 10 -March 12. Pray for good health and wisdom as he meets with WMF staff in Freetown to lead a retreat and as he meets with others in South Africa and Zambia to explore the possibility for beginning Word Made Flesh communities in these two countries.
2. Pray for Rachel as she participates in a course for worship leaders called, "Perspectives in Global Christian Worship," February 19 – March 2. Pray for this time of study to benefit the whole community when she returns to share a deeper understanding of worship in life and ministry in a multi-cultural, multi-confessional community.
3. Pray for the school children during the winter months. Every winter several children stop showing up to school and to the Community Center. Winter is a difficult time for families living in poverty, and we see the affects on the children. Pray for God to protect and encourage them in the challenges they face each day.
4. Pray for Bogdan who was sent home from the hospital. His condition of paralysis in his legs has not improved and his mother is caring for him at home.
5. Pray for Robin and Josh Fowler who arrived on February 13. Pray for their cultural acclimation, language acquisition and integration into community life with the staff and children.
