The ministry of WMF is dependant upon the financial gifts of churches, organizations, and individuals.

 

GIVING FROM ROMANIA

If you want to make a donation from Romania , you may transfer it to our Banca Comerciala account RO28RNCB0141032869370001; or you may give the donation as cash, billet de ordin, or c.e.c. to our office at strada Dogariei, nr. 111, Galati , 800.225.

 

GIVING FROM GREAT BRITAIN

If you want to make a donation from Great Britain, you may send it to our partner organization, PCF Romania Projects, 20 Worcester Grove, Perton, Wolverhampton WV6 7XE. Please specify that the donation is for Galati . For tax effective giving, the easiest method is for the donor to complete a GAD form when they send their donation.

 

GIVING FROM THE UNITED STATES

All gifts to WMF are tax deductible. You may make donations to the ministry of WMF in three ways: by PayPal, check or by automated deduction from your checking account.

Many employers offer a matching gift for any employee's gift to a charitable non-profit organization. Please check with your employer to see if they offer this service.

 

PAYPAL GIFTS

 

Paypal allows supporters to donate via credit card, debit card, checking or savings account. In the process of the donation, donors will be allowed to make a notation regarding their intent for the gift. Please make a notation in the "Message to Seller" field to indicate your intent for this gift.

PayPal is not the preferred method of giving to WMF because PayPal charges a fee for using their service to receive donations. However, PayPal does provide an easy way for international donors and donors who prefer electronic methods to give.

For those who are already supporting the ministry of WMF, we ask that you continue to send financial gifts in traditional ways, using checks or automated debit authorizations for regular giving. We appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity to WMF.

PayPal charges between 1.9%-2.9% towards every gift made in US dollars. International donors who send support will also be subject to an additional 2.5% exchange rate fee that represents a spread above the wholesale exchange rate in which PayPal obtains the foreign currency. This represents the fastest and most efficient way to receive monies when the gift originates outside of the U.S.

PayPal is an internationally recognized and highly regarded company. PayPal assumes all security precautions over the electronic giving. They communicate the security precautions they take on their website: www.paypal.com

 

GIFT BY AUTOMATED DEDUCTION

You may have your WMF contributions automatically deducted from your checking account each month. Our paperwork is reduced when you use the automated donation method, helping us to make more efficient use of your gifts.

Please consider if you would be willing to make your monthly donations in this way. If you want to start doing automated donations, download the automated deduction authorization form. Fill out the form and send us a voided check.

 

GIFT BY CHECK

Please send checks to: Word Made Flesh, P.O. Box 70 , Omaha , NE 68101 .

Do not write in the memo of the check. Instead, download a response card and enclose it in the envelope with your gift, designating the area of ministry to which you want your gift to go.

 

WHERE YOUR GIFT IS USED

You may choose to give the gift to several different areas of ministry:

• Romania Ministry Fund - This fund supports the overall needs of the ministry in Romania .

• You can also designate specific areas within the Romania Ministry Fund that you would like to support:

• “The Valley House” Community Center

• Individual Romanian Staff members. Please visit the Romanian Staff page for information about each member of the community.

• Monthly amount for a WMF Staff member - Please write the staff member's name in the available space. Staff members are full-time paid WMF staff, serving overseas for 2 years or more. Please visit our WMF Staff page for a complete list of all staff members.

WMF and its Board of Directors honor the intention of every gift. However, as per regulations in the Internal Revenue Code for non-profit organizations, Word Made Flesh cannot permit the receipting of charitable, tax-deductible gifts that are restricted by the donor for a specific purpose. If a donor gives to Word Made Flesh, in compliance with Internal Revenue Service regulations, the donor releases all dominion and control of the donation.
